House-style file steak
You will amaze your guests with this dish!
Ingredients
- 1 fillet steak (beef) weighing 2.5-3 kg, Ø 10-12 cm
- 2 tbsp mustard powder
- 120 ml French dressing
Instruction
- Wash the fillet steak and pat dry 10-24 hours before grilling. Sprinkle the meat with mustard powder and cover generously with French dressing. Place in a glass bowl, cover with cling film and place in the fridge.
- Preheat the grill at full power for 10-15 minutes. Remove the meat from the refrigerator while you preheat the grill.
- Reduce to medium power. Oil the rust.
- Place the fillet steak directly on the grill and let it cook for 20 minutes. Turn 1/3 every 6 minutes and keep brushing with meat juice.
- Place fillet steak on a cutting board and cover with foil and a tea towel.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before cutting. Serve with your favorite sauce.
