Shrimp wrapped in bacon

Fresh shrimp wrapped in delicious bacon make the perfect appetizer for your barbecue party


  • 2 tsp paprika powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 20 large shrimp, peeled
  • 10 thin slices of Italian pancetta, halved


  1. Mix all ingredients, except shrimp and pancetta, in a medium bowl to form a marinade. Place the shrimp in the marinade and let it sit for 30 minutes. You can use any bacon instead of pancetta. Put this in a pan and fry on the side cooking plate on MEDIUM for 1 minute on each side until crispy. grill
    Preheat to HIGH and oil the grill grates. Wrap shrimp with pancetta and secure with a toothpick.
  2. Grill on HIGH for 3-4 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn slightly pink and start to shrink.
