NTR - No Tools Required. And in fact, no fancy tools are required for switching operation from left to right hand, tightening the drag, or performing maintenance on this modern fly reel. The NTR fly reel has an efficient, powerful and intelligent design that does not require a college degree to operate. Designed for the angler looking for a high quality aluminum fly reel at a friendly price. All models are fully CNC machined from lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum and feature a smooth-running cork disc brake system. The braking system is sealed to keep moisture and dust out and works very reliably during drills. The NTR series reels have overflow protection and can be easily switched from left-handed to right-handed operation.
The different sizes of this functional reel series cover almost all usage scenarios for one-handed and two-handed fishing in freshwater. The Large Arbor spool core ensures a high capacity of backing and line and quick take-up of the line. A great choice for budget-conscious fly fishers looking for a modern aluminum reel.
