With the RVR series, the traditional American company Bauer has once again achieved a huge success. After three years of development, these fly reels not only make a big statement in terms of design, but also shake up the premium segment from a technical point of view. When creating the modern design, the experienced reel makers quickly realized how challenging it is to work on such a complex fly reel. The complexity and double anodized design of the RVR would have been too difficult to achieve on a conventional 3-axis machine, so they looked to the latest 5-axis machines available. With success, as the result clearly proves. The workmanship of the Bauer RVR fly reels is beyond any doubt and flawless in every respect. Minimal gap dimensions, beautifully flattened edges, delicate yet stable struts and a non-slip brake knob that can be adjusted as smoothly as butter - these are just a few of the highlights. With different models, the RVR series covers most of the typical scenarios of modern fly fishing.

The Bauer RVR covers everything from fine dry fly fishing on the stream to demanding still water fishing for powerful rainbows or saltwater fishing on the Baltic Sea coast for sea trout. The different models have a large arbor design, which drastically reduces the risk of memory and allows larger amounts of line to be spooled quickly. This is particularly fun with the beautiful knob made of fine hardwood. When fighting, the RVR's sealed carbon brake system works 100% reliably and the impressive brake pressure can be adjusted very precisely. This allows you to fish with thin tippets. Also because the brake starts directly and extremely gently!

With the midnight black finish and the colored highlights as well as the lasered accents, the RVR fits wonderfully on any trout rod. A beautiful fly reel in a class of its own that we immediately fell for. It impresses with its unique design and outstanding manufacturing quality and is a reliable partner for many years of fishing for trout, grayling or barbel.

RVR 2/3: Small streams and rivers are the ideal waters for fishing with line classes #2 and #3. Here you won't need 100 meters of backing and no brake that can stop a steelhead. But what you need is a light reel with a perfect drag so that you can use fine leaders.

RVR 4/5: Line and backing capacity, drag and weight of this reel have been designed accordingly for larger trout, larger waters, longer casts and the more varied techniques associated with 4 and 5 weight rods. Whether you fish with a floating line or a light sinking tip, whether you want to fish dry flies or nymphs: this is the ideal reel for you!

RVR 6/7: A larger reel for the higher line weights in trout fishing. Ideal for hunting trophy fish with large, wind-susceptible or heavy flies. The increased backing capacity is more than enough to handle even the longest escape. Intended uses include streamer fishing with floating or sinking lines, stillwater fishing with floating, intermediate and full sinking lines, and handling the aggressively tapered club lines needed to cast large dry flies, poppers, articulated streamers and double nymph rigs.

Due to the delivery bottlenecks caused by the Covid19 pandemic, there may be order overlaps and therefore delivery delays for orders from some brands.
