The Avantt presents itself like clockwork at close range and shines with precise placement of the fly, which lands on the stretched leader thanks to the always fast line. The low swing weight initially suggests that the Avantt is a delicate rod for close range - but appearances are deceptive. At medium and long distances, the Avant shows what it's made of and presents itself as an outstanding casting rod with great potential for weighted patterns and windy days - it masters the entire casting spectrum, as you would expect from a rod in the premium segment.
